2020 Season of Civic Engagement – “Stand Up & Be Counted!”
In March, during the country’s national recognition of Women’s History Month, Women Veterans ROCK! and The Women Veterans 2020 Delegation(c) host 100 leading Military Women and Leaders of Veterans Service Organizations as we convene our annual Public Policy Day Forum for our Mid-Atlantic Region of Military Women On Capitol Hill.
We Are Excited To Host – “Stand Up & Be Counted!” – as the central theme of our 2020 Public Policy Day On Capitol Hill.
Public Policy Day provides The Women Veterans 2020 Delegation with important opportunities to visit with Congressional Members, Senate Leaders and Hill Staffers. Delegates learn about: Congress; the public policy making process; and share their experiences, challenges and victories with The Delegation and Legislative Leaders. Each year, we remain committed to bringing attention to important issues affecting Women Veterans and Military Families.
This year we host another special forum dedicated to meeting with our Legislators of the 116th Congress. The 2020 Forum of “Stand Up & Be Counted” is dedicated to our robust 2020 Season of Civic Engagement in support of Veteran Service Organizations for Women Veterans & Military Families; supporting Public Policy that enhances the Post-Military Lives of America’s Veterans Community; and Advocating for Military Women In Post-Military Public Leadership. The overall goal of The Women Veterans 2020 Delegation is “Building Positive and Productive Partnerships” with our Legislative Partners on The Hill.
Our mission is to sustain our role as Advocates & Catalyst For Positive Social Change for today’s Women Veterans & Military Families.
